As a person myself who grew up with limited income, I know the value of a dollar and understand that the parents I'm certain wanted their kids to enjoy themselves, but just couldn't afford it...or by chance religion, According to the article which I will post the links. The school over charged those who were able to attend anyway. My God, hearing the joys and laughs while the (let's just say it) poor watches some ole dumb movie...that they've probably already seen. I there were tears and sad faces. It also mentioned that one student thought they were being punished. Technically the school did punished them 'cause of their limited income.
On another note, it had to been planned in advance and the school already knew the income of the students parents 'cause it says they only had enough prizes for those who paid.
There were a few faculty members that were sadden by the outcome. The paid kids also received stuffed animal 'cause they were able to pay, but one teacher refused to give them out 'til she could add her own gifts for the underprivileged. Kudo's to her.
The carnival kids were also treated to popcorn afterwards so as not to hurt those who were punished 'cause of their income. Like they didn't hear the screams, laughter, and chatter outside. They're underprivileged, not deaf...though they're may have been a non hearing student at the school. I don't know.
I agree. The carnival was held during school hours making it FREE for all. The gold diggers should have waited 'til after school hours, or planned it on the weekend.

Jane & Belle
Are they related? Terk can be see using tea pots as a drum in one of the scenes which looks exactly like the tea set from Beauty and the Beast. Namely Mrs. Potts and Chip. Not to mention that the curse was lifted and Chip and his mother became human again as well as the others who were cursed. That would have left the castled nearly empty 'cept for the once cursed. Belle went shopping and had some things custom made? Could it just be 'cause of her English background and just a coincidence? Belle is supposedly set in the year 1770's in France while Jane is from England in the early 1900's (least that's what I found).
Both have brown hair and favor the color yellow. Their father's are a little out there...and let's on forget the Duke of Weselton also looks like Jane's father, but Duke Weselton is German. Frozen was supposedly set somewhere in the 1800's (there's a variety of dates, but 1800's kept coming up) Norway. For all of 'em to be related, like most family they spread out. Belle's grandkid have to have met and married someone from Germany. Someone real close (a kid, grandkid, sibling), met and married someone from England. Through time, relatives do take on traits of their ancestors which is possibly why they look so much alike.

Jane and Belle tamed wild men. OK one was cursed and the other was feral.
This is just my theory. Personally Beauty and the Beast is my top favorite, followed by Frozen, and then Tarzan. I'm a reader so Belle will always be my favorite.

CSI: Las Vegas

Grissom. To me, he was their boss, yes, but he did become like a second father to certain members of his team.
Sara. She was abused, so in cases involving that are always the toughest.
Catherine. Was a former showgirl who wanted to better herself..and wanted to make her daughter proud.
Warrick. As far as I know is the only one born and raised in Las Vegas. He also had gambling problem.
Greg. The youngest of the team and it showed.
Jim Brass. A former marine who has didn't see eye to eye with his daughter.
David Hodges. Kiss up especially to Grissom.
Dr. Al Robbins. Coroner.
Here's a list of other long running shows. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_longest-running_U.S._primetime_television_series#Scripted_television_series

Mother's Day
For my mother I created a mini cactus garden.
Here's some gift idea's:
- Flowers and chocolate. Never can go wrong...less she's allergic. Can opt for fake flowers in a pretty vase.
- Make something. That's always a winner. Its from the heart, even though the materials are store brought.
- A video montage.
- Shirts...which is usually easy to guesstimate. Fine a pretty design with something she likes.
- Perfume...as long as she don't have asthma.
- A nice supper. Make her, her favorites or take her to her favorite restaurant.
- And don't forget the Mother's Day card.
- And don't forget lost loved mother's on this special day.
