Baby, It's Cold Outside

This Christmas song is featured in a movie called 'Neptune's Daughter in 1949. It was written by Frank Lesser in 1944.
I'll be honest, I"'ve never heard this song, but what I found out is the song is about a woman hung out with her boyfriend at his house and she wants to leave, but he doesn't want her to go. She eventually gives in and stays. I mean looking at the lyrics I can understand at a certain point how he manipulates her into staying, but also you gotta understand this was written in the early '40s; a whole nother time.
A radio station banned the song because of this damn #metoo crap. More and more stations are banning the song every day. Radio Station Article
Frank's daughter Susan spoke up and said he wrote that song for her parents to sing at parties. And that people back then would say 'what's in my drink' as a joke. Never even considered that you could be drugged. Susan Lesser
Like I say, don't judge a book by its cover without reading it first.
