The Fish

I caught a tremendous fish
and held him beside the boat
half out of the water, wich my hook
fast in a corner of his mouth.
He didn't fight.
He hadn't fought at all.
He hung a grunting weight,
battered and venerable
and homely. Here and there
his brown skin hung in strips
like ancient wallpaper,
and its pattern of darker brown
was like wallpaper:
shapes like full-blown roses
stained and lost through age.
He was speckled with barnacles,
fine rosettes of lime,
and infested
with tiny white sea-lice,
and underneath two or three
rags of green weed hung down.
While his gills were breathing in
the terrible oxygen
the frightening gills
fresh and crisp with blood,
that can cut so badly
I thought of the coarse with flesh
packed in like feathers,
the big bones and the little bones,
the dramatic reds and blacks
of his shiny entrails,
and the pink swim-bladder
like a big peony.
I looked into his eyes
which were far larger than mine
but shallower, and yellowed,
the irises backed and packed
with tarnished tinfoil
seen through the lenses
of old scratched isinglass.
They shifted a little, but not
to return my stare.
It was more like the tipping
of an object toward the light.
I admired his sullen face,
the mechanism of his jaw,
and then I saw
that from his lower lip
If you could call it a lip
grim, wet, and weaponlike,
hung five old pieces of fish-line,
or four and a wire leader
with the swivel still attached,
with all their five big hooks
grown firmly in his mouth.
A green line frayed at the end
where he broke it, two heavier lines,
and a fine black thread
still crimped from the strain and snap
when it broke and he got away.
Like medals with their ribbons
frayed and wavering,
a five-haired beard of wisdom
trailing from his aching jaw.
I stared and stared
and victory filled up
the little-rented boat,
from the pool of bilge
where oil had spread a rainbow
around the rusted engine
to the bailer rusted orange,
the sun-cracked thwarts,
the oarlocks on their strings,
the gunnels--until everything
was a rainbow, rainbow, rainbow!
And I let the fish go.
An old graveyard.
A young Pennsylvania kid was killed by his older brother (10 Years Old) Wednesday morning. Apparently the boys were home alone. Really? OK, the mother was at work, but according to articles, she did have a live-in boyfriend. So where the hell was he? And second and most important question; the gun was registered in the mother's name, so why didn't see teach her kids about gun safety? If she refused to do so, then the gun needed to be put in a locked safe. That's irresponsible.
I remember my father's guns were mounted on the wall in the backroom. Though they wan't no 9MM's. Two were shotguns and the other was a BB Gun. I don't remember, but my mother told me that our father let me and my sister shoot them when we were younger. I mean he was standing right there beside us. We were fine. The guns were in the same room were we hung out in sometimes. We never once touched 'em. But unlike most kids, we knew what guns could do. Our father taught us that.
He even trusted my sister enough. There was a snake on one our swing-sets and he told my sister to go get the gun, but apparently she must have ran into our mother on the way to the backroom, 'cause she came out with the instead.
Episode starts where it ended, Clary and Jace taking Luke to Magnus'.
It opens up with Clary and Jace and Alec entering. Clary tells him about the necklace, that Valentine can speak to her through the necklace. Of course Alec takes the necklace and puts it away. Alec still don't like Clary. Isabelle comes and finds Clary and they talk about Alec and Joycelyn.
Scene cuts to Luke at the police station with Alaric.
Alec and Clary train while talking. Clary tells him she might be able to use the box that her mother takes out once a year to use to try to find Valentine. Then Magnus calls Alec.
There's mostly likely a recipe you can find online, but this one is ALL MINE. Its a perfect alternative instead of Coke and it's yummy.

Ok, the video on Youtube doesn't mention Katy, but an article I found mentions her.

Kim says that she's playing the victim when she approved the song. I personally don't know, if she agreed and then went back on her word, but what I do know about Kim and Kanye, they like attention and Kanye thinks he's God. Maybe in Taylor's next album we might hear clues. She writes about what she knows. 
I mean, come on. I'm just gonna say it. The animals were put on this earth first. This is their land. What makes you think they aren't sadden by the destruction that we do to their homes? When their loved one is killed by the hands of a human? And I'll admit that I've never been to Florida, but I've seen posts where people have commented that there are warning signs. That the beach closes at 9PM. 
Three mummified children were discovered Volcan Llullaillaco in Argentina in 1999. The girl was a preteen while the two younger one are thought to be between four and five years old. They were from 500 years ago during the time of the Inca Empire. They were part of a sacrifice. They are so well preserved that it looks as if they had just fallen asleep, but that just maybe 'cause they were drugged. The mummies in a museum in Salta, Argentina.
